Complex digital renewal of BioHungaricum Kft. and the establishment of a plant-level precision farming system

Development of the horticultural activity of BioHungaricum Kft.

Development of the horticultural activity of BioHungaricum Kft. within the framework of the call for proposals entitled “Support for the technological development of horticultural holdings”, reference number KAP-RD01a-1-25.

The primary objective of the project is to modernise the technological standard of the horticultural holding and to increase production efficiency through the purchase of precision equipment and up-to-date machinery. The development directly contributes to the objectives set out in the call for proposals, supporting income security and improving the quality and quantity of horticultural products.

As part of the investment we are developing the systems required for precision farming, as well as the machinery used to modernise our soil cultivation technology, which allows us to increase our efficiency.

The development enables the holding to farm in a more environmentally friendly way and to adapt more flexibly to climate-related challenges. The use of precision technology improves resource efficiency, making the holding more competitive on the market and offsetting the disadvantages of a smaller operating size. The project also covers operations management and the fulfilment of mandatory publicity obligations.

As a result of the project, a digitally supported, high-efficiency machinery fleet is created, providing the foundations of sustainable and profitable horticultural production. The support granted by the European Union and the Hungarian State has made possible a technological leap that could not have been financed from own resources, thereby ensuring the long-term development of the holding.

Development and modernisation of the processing plants of BioHungaricum Kft.

Development and modernisation of the processing plants of BioHungaricum Kft. within the framework of the call for proposals entitled “Support for the development of processing plants”, reference number KAP-RD04a-RD04b-2-24.

The aim of the investment is to improve the operating conditions of the company, to increase the efficiency of the processing operations and to promote the use of up-to-date technologies. As part of the development, equipment purchases and developments using renewable energy sources are carried out, contributing to the long-term, sustainable operation of the company.
